On the first Saturday of each month, I will be joining in a blog link up called The Ultimate Coffee Date with a few lovely ladies. It has been a big week for me as a writer/blogger and I couldn’t help but do a practice Ultimate Coffee Date post.
If we were having coffee this morning, I’d mention:
My coffee is half creamer! Can’t drink it straight black. Nope. My love for coffee is all about the creamer. Especially Iced Vanilla Coffee.
Or a new concoction I’ve been working on perfecting – Iced Coffee Protein Shake. Pretty simple really: cup of coffee, ice cubes, a bit of milk and a scoop of protein powder. It’s still a work in progress.
If we were having coffee, I’d be telling you:
I’m really excited right now about the opportunities I’m finding with my new career path (as author and blogger). I’ve been working really hard this year and it’s starting to pay off. Almost every week I’m seeing new opportunities and possibilities and doing my best to take a big leap into them.
One of my life principles I’ve adapted (and truly benefitted from) is when opportunity arrives –
Just say yes and figure it out later!
Heck, I’ve managed to figure things out along the way this far – surely with the focus and determination I’ve got in my pockets I can figure it out soon enough. Just say yes and do it.
If we were having coffee, I’d give you a teaspoon of advice:
Well, honestly, I’d sneak it in. I am a success author after all so….
Did you see I already gave you my coffee time inspiration and key to success tidbit? Yeah – maybe I need to work on my stealth mode a bit.
If we were having coffee, I’d probably tell you:
You’re pretty special and I value our friendship. I’m a busy gal (and so are you). I value and guard my time wisely, so if we are chatting over coffee either I really wanted to just get out of the house (and away from the kids) and unwind. Or I knew we’d both benefit from quality quiet time.
If I’m sharing coffee with you I’m probably inspired by you. I probably find the way you are handling life and conquering it motivating. Truth is even though I write about success all the time I am human too. And when I hear and see my friends handling life and going after their goals – it keeps me going too!
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you:
Heck, I probably already called you – like minutes after it happened. I got published on Mom’s Magazine this week! First time my work is on a real publication! So exciting!
Also exciting? I made it into the top 150 (overall) blogs at TopMommyBlogs! 144 to be exact. And #8 in Health & Fitness! Keep voting for me. I would love to be #1 in my category!
Be sure to join me on the first Saturday of every month for a little bit of coffee time – and a bit of motivation for your weekend!
