Why We Must Have Vision for Our Life

Why We Must Have Vision for Our Life

Many are spinning in circles, wondering why things are not getting better or what they are doing wrong and why they can’t achieve their goals.

The reason is lack of vision for who you want to be and what you’d like to be doing with your life. This is a combined lack of direction and life purpose.

Many people get stuck and frustrated for the very fact that they are trying to force things into their journey that are not in alignment with their vision. That is, it won’t work for them, not because they aren’t trying or going at it right, but because IT IS NOT part of their vision for their lives!

If you force things into your life vision that are not part of the plan to get you there, that are not required for you by your vision, that are shoved onto you as being the only way and right way, the result is you will find yourself stressed, exhausted, ill, and losing the battle.

In other words, you won’t make it to your desired destination following someone else’s plan to a T every step of the way. You must listen to your own beat and adjust the path according to what your vision is for your future.

An element that directly correlates with your success is knowing how to stay true to your vision. Note I did not say to who you currently are.

Your ideal life, your best self is something that is at a level higher than which you are currently living your life at.

If you were to stay true to yourself right here as you are – you would never become anything greater than that which you currently are and you’d fail to reach your dream ‘life.’ This means that to get there and become this best you, you will have to learn, grow and change.

You must decide upon a direction for your life, you must have something to aim for or you will literally spin in circles.

At this point is when all the excuse making, reasoning and blame gaming appears.

“Well I can’t…. I couldn’t…. I just don’t see…there is no way I could do that.”

That list could be 100 pages long. This is a decision. YOU decide what is and isn’t possible for you to do and become. So as long so you hold onto these limiting beliefs about what you can and can’t do – you will be 100% right that you won’t be able to make it happen.

If you want your life to improve, you must begin to improve. It starts with making new decisions about what is possible for you to achieve and deciding to start valuing yourself and believing that you can and that you will.

Start deciding what you want to do with yourself and who you’d like to become. Start taking action towards it and don’t give up or give at every little hiccup along the way.

Stay focused on that visionary life. Focus on who that future you is. How is the future you different from the person you are right now? These are the aspects to begin improving upon.

You can’t get there by staying where you are today. It’s going to require growth and change. It will require you rising up to a higher level of you.
